Since it has been about 6 weeks since I updated I thought it is about time I made a post.
Over the past week or so I've noticed a lot of birds visiting my backyard but I wasn't able to get any pictures because of the window screen. The other day I took down the screen and washed the window and now I have a great view of the birds in the backyard. I put up a birdfeeder that I got from Shell.
I also have the Simthsonian Field Guide to the Birds so that I can identify what is in the pictures.
So today's bird of the day/week is the Downy Woodpecker.

Pet food recall [18 Mar 2007|12:00am]
You might have already heard about the pet food recall but I'm posting it here just in case you haven't. It covers 46 different brands of dog food and 37 brands of cat food for the last 3 months. I had one can of dog food with the right UPC code but a different expiration date but I'm going to throw it away just to be safe.
